Will Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Advance Wars headline the next Direct?

The Legend of Zelda Tears of a Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp are the latest games rumored to appear in the first Nintendo Direct event in 2023. Nintendo usually holds a Direct conference at the beginning of the year, usually focused in the games. Launch in the first half of the year. According to a post on family boardsNintendo recently assigned new ID numbers to The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2.

As the post points out, Nintendo often updates NSUIDs before opening pre-orders on the eShop.

While it’s no guarantee of an imminent Nintendo Direct, it certainly ties in with recent rumors of a Direct conference coming up soon.

Advance Wars 1+2 was originally scheduled to release in 2022. However, the game was delayed due to the war in Ukraine.

“Command an army in turn-based strategic combat as a tactical advisor to the Orange Star Army,” the official description for Advance Wars reads.

“Your experience is needed as you move land, air and sea units across the battlefield. Wipe out enemy squadrons and capture cities and bases to ensure victory and keep the peace.

Keep an eye out for game-changing terrain and weather as you lead a variety of units across multiple maps. This new version features two campaigns covering the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising!

Tears of the Kingdom, on the other hand, is a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

According to the official description, the game will take the action to the skies of Hyrule.

Link will also have a number of new abilities, including the ability to move across dry land. Perhaps some additional gameplay features will be shown during the rumored Direct.

Another game with the suggestion of making an appearance is Metroid Prime Trilogy, which will reportedly feature updated visuals and controls.
