The reason Eva Longoria got her tattoos removed

It appears that Eva Longoria’s first tattoo removal came after her split from Tony Parker, when TMZ claimed that she tried to hide her wedding date in Roman numerals on her wrist. The outlet reported that it appeared to have been laser etched on it, though Longoria denied this. “Just to let everyone know that I still have all my tattoos! Nothing will be removed, although I’m always up for more tattoos!” she tweeted in January 2011, suggesting that she may have been wearing concealer to cover it up. Why did she want it covered? Longoria requested divorce in November 2020, after Parker was unfaithful to him. Longoria confirmed her adultery in 2012, saying in “The conversation with Amanda de Cadenet”, “It wasn’t about who he chose. I mean, I had moments of, ‘Am I not sexy enough? Am I not pretty enough? Am I not smart enough?’ But on a lot of those questions, I immediately stopped and said, ‘No, don’t start doing that.’ Because you can get stuck in that cycle.”

But while Longoria denied removing the tattoos at the time, it wasn’t long before she decided it was time to get rid of her ex. In January 2021, Y! news claimed that Longoria began the process of removing her inks related to her ex-husband. Then in November 2012, TMZ shared candid photos of the star that featured a red patch on the back of her neck where her “Nine” tattoo used to be.
