Sir Paul, who turned 80 last summer, posted a photo on Instagram of himself during a solo concert with an image of George and himself playing guitar in a studio. Macca captioned the post: “Happy would have been for my partner @georgeharrisonofficial – Paul.”
Meanwhile, Sir Ringo shared a black and white photo of himself with George and captioned it: “Happy 80s my friend, peace and love. I miss you man.”
George’s widow, Olivia Harrison, whom he married in 1978, posted a photo of them as a couple and simply wrote: “George, February 25, 1943.”
His son Dhani Harrison, 44, wrote: “Happy 80th birthday to George everyone. Joy be with all of you.” His post included a quote from a spiritual interview with his father.
