Josh Duhamel was injured while dancing at a pre-wedding celebration, prompting him to visit the ER twice. chatting on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” On Oct. 28, 2022, the “Transformers” star explained that he started moving on a party bus after the rehearsal dinner for his wedding to Audra Mari. “We had music pumping in there, and I feel good. So I decide I’m going to start dancing,” Duhamel said. He then grabbed a handle inside the bus to attempt a gymnastics-inspired move, causing him to injure his back. The morning of the wedding, when he “literally couldn’t stand up” due to the injury, Duhamel went to the emergency room and was given medication that got him through the ceremony.
However, the morning after the wedding, he woke up again feeling unable to move, so he went back to the ER with Mari by his side. “It wasn’t a great start, but I was like, ‘Honey, for better or for worse,'” Duhamel said. Fortunately, the lovebirds’ honeymoon experience seemed to go off without a hitch after this incident. Mari shared a photo from their beach getaway, and Duhamel posted a selfie on Instagram of him and Mari lounging in the sun in Thailand. “What a wonderful start to the rest of our lives. Thank you Thailand for all your kindness,” Duhamel wrote alongside the image. “You will always have a special place in my heart.”
