Sue Barker names her favorite player between Federer, Nadal and Djokovic

The 66-year-old, who received a CBE in February, also praised Billie Jean King’s impact on women in sports. In 1973, the best female tennis player defeated former No. 1 ranked men’s player Bobby Riggs, in what turned out to be a historic occasion.

“I had two amazing careers. Tennis which I completely fell in love with when I was seven years old, I never thought it would be a career until Billie Jean won the battle of the sexes, and then suddenly my hobby became a career. I was able to travel the world thanks to everything he did and that gave me a foothold in radio broadcasting.”
