First up, Giant Freakin Robot is reporting that Evans’ Steve Rogers will return in Captain America 4 starring Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson as the new flag-waving superhero.
The new film, which will be released on May 3, 2024, is called Captain America: New World Order and co-stars Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross following the death of original actor William Hurt.
Evans will apparently appear in a cameo, perhaps as the old Captain America from the final scenes of Avengers Endgame, since he’s technically still alive in the MCU.
If that wasn’t enough, Downey Jr is also reported to be returning as Tony Stark in another Captain America project.
