RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley’s strange connection to Boy George explained – Nicki Swift

So how did Dorit Kemsley and Boy George initially hook up? In 2017, Kemsley said Bravo, “There was like an instant love between George, PK and me.” She explained how George became her beloved house guest, adding: ‘We met George a few years ago when he approached PK about managing it. And when he came to LA, PK suggested, because we had the room, he said, ‘ You can come over to the house.'” Kemsley couldn’t have been happier to have him living in her house. The family developed a close and trusting relationship with George, who became godfather to her daughter Phoenix.

As a guest of the Kemsley family, George was a fly on the wall for the drama that ensued on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Obviously, George enjoyed the chaos. In a 2019 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” shared the advice he gave to Kemsley. He exclaimed, “I’ve been rooting for Dorit to take it to the next level and be as disgusting and difficult as possible. And just say all the wrong things at the right time and make the show exciting!”
