Last year, Daniel Craig stepped down from the James Bond series following the release of his fifth film, No Time To Die. And ever since, fans have been waiting for information on who the next 007 star could be. Bond’s bosses have revealed that the news will be announced in the next few years, but some cool 007 fans have jumped the queue and told him asked an AI art generator to predict what the new James Bond will look like.
rainbow rich casino asked an artificial intelligence tool to generate an image of the “perfect actor” to take on the role of James Bond next.
The stars of 007 have had varied looks over the years, from age and hair color to even country of origin, but the AI tool seems to think the next Bond is going to look a very specific way.
The image, which can be seen below, shows a disturbing James Bond candidate outfitted with a beard for the first time. The incredibly light-skinned mockup also has the trademark piercing blue eyes that Craig sported as 007 for 15 years.
Most notably, though, the AI-generated actor resembles a major actor: Tom Hardy.
Hardy has been a favorite among James Bond fans since 2020 following a rumor that he had already been cast as 007 behind the scenes. These rumors were neither confirmed nor denied, but since then he has been one of the biggest names on the list.
Rainbow Rich Casino recently conducted a poll of 2,000 Brits on who they would like to see as the next suave spy star. 24 percent of all votes went directly to the Venom actor, that’s almost 500 votes in total. This means that the British public is eager to see Hardy don his tuxedo and drink his martinis shaken, not stirred.
This new AI mockup follows this trend. However, the latest Bond odds tell a completely different story for the future of the next James Bond actor.
Ladbrokes recently published batch of odds on the next James Bond puts Tom Hardy fifth in the top ten.
The 45-year-old currently has 10/1 odds of claiming the position. And while these are fantastic odds, they’re not good enough to knock out the Brit at the top of the leaderboard at the moment.
Bookies recently put former Marvel star Aaron Taylor-Johnson at the top of the shortlist with a staggering 2/1 to claim the role. The 32-year-old actor is in the perfect age range for the role and isn’t too famous for the part, so his time might be now.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “We’ve seen plenty of names topping the Bond stakes over the years, but none have been as surprising as current favourite, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who continues to attract interest from 007 punters.” .
Whoever replaces Craig in the next Bond movie has previously given them some tough advice.
Craig was previously asked what words of wisdom he would say to his successor.
He coldly confessed, “There are a couple of things I would say. One is don’t be a s**t. I would say you have to take it and make it yours.”
He added: “I hope I put it in a good place and I hope the next person can blow it up. It’s an amazing franchise. I still think there are a lot of stories to tell.”
