Mauricio Pochettino has suggested he will get another chance to sit in Manchester United’s hot seat after he was passed over by Erik ten Hag when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was relieved of his duties. The Dutchman has exercised control of him at Old Trafford in the months since his arrival and has not been afraid to ruffle Cristiano Ronaldo’s hair, especially upset at being left out of the starting eleven.
Pochettino has been widely associated with the Red Devils managerial job since his impressive spell at Tottenham and was at times the bookies’ favorite to replace Solskjaer when he was sacked. Instead, United looked to the Eredivisie to replace the Norwegian, and Ajax head coach Ten Hag was given the job instead.

The former Southampton and Spurs manager is now looking for a new club and has been linked with a number of roles, including England’s post-World Cup job. It’s highly unlikely that his next move will be to the Red Devils, but the 50-year-old has suggested that he might have another chance with the team in the future.

Only time will tell if Pochettino will ever have a chance at Old Trafford, but it is clear that he has not given up hope of a chance in the future.
