Margot Robbie opened up about filming one of the most famous sex scenes in her 2013 movie The Wolf of Wall Street. In the picture, she plays Naomi Lapaglia, the second wife of real-life Wall Street mogul Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Margot and Leo filmed a series of sordid sex scenes together, but one of the most iconic took place with a massive amount of money.
Margot revealed, however, that this scene was particularly challenging for her, as she was the one who kept the fake money. Unfortunately for her, this counterfeit coin left her completely devastated.
She said the daily beast: “I got a million paper cuts on my back for all that money! It’s not as glamorous as it sounds.”
Speaking in 2017, he added: “If anyone ever plans to have sex on top of a pile of cash: don’t do it.”
However, she had more advice for anyone who wanted to be frisky with finances.
Margot previously spoke about her raunchy scenes in The Wolf of Wall Street, where she admitted she struggled to make them stay in the final picture.
In an iconic moment, Margot seductively opened a set of sliding doors for Leonardo wearing nothing but high heels.
Speaking about this nudity, she confessed: “I think nudity for nudity’s sake is embarrassing. If it’s put up just for a girl to take off her top, then that’s disgusting. And it always shows. But I also think it’s disgusting when someone stripped in real life, in the movie they conveniently leave their bra on or pull up the sheet.”
He went on to point out that his character would certainly have been nude in the story at that point.
Margot said, “Naomi’s whole point is that her body is her only form of currency in this world.”
As a result, when director Martin suggested to Margot that she cover up a bit, she shot him down: “So when Marty was trying to help me and he said in the scene where he seduces Jordan, maybe I could put on a robe, I said she wouldn’t.”
Margot said that Naomi “had to be naked”. “She’s putting her cards on the table,” she explained.
