Liverpool youngster Clark lashes out at Ajax player in furious brawl

Clark made his first-team debut for Liverpool earlier this year, coming on as a substitute for Trent Alexander-Arnold as his side cruised to a 9-0 victory over newly promoted Bournemouth.

Speaking after the game, he said: “When they started playing seven, eight, I was hoping I could get on and steal one myself! But obviously that didn’t happen. It was special suitable [and] exciting to see them. Obviously the 9-0 speaks for itself, it was great to see him on the sidelines.”

The teenager has also trained with the first team on a number of occasions so far this season, and has attributed those experiences to his progress. He continued: “Every day in training I absorb everything and learn from the best. They just help you every day in training, help you learn and improve… I have to be patient and impress the boss in training. Hopefully, if I continue to train well and do what he wants me to do, I hope there’s an opportunity here.”
