Newlywed Jodie Sweetin was still winding down from her post-wedding euphoria with Mescal Wasilewski when she opened up about celebrating “Full House’s” 35th anniversary without the show’s beloved Bob Saget.
“Thirty-five is a big one,” he gushed about the milestone for Eastern Time on October 25. “And every time I think about 35 years, I think I’ve lived more than 35 years, which is scary,” she added jokingly. Still, he insisted this year’s anniversary turned out to be “a bit bittersweet.” According to Sweetin, the cast that looks more like an “extended family” loves to celebrate the milestone every year. “We definitely miss Bob, but we know he was with us,” she said. “He’s always right in the middle. He would never leave the spotlight, I love it.”
But that is not all. On the day of the actual anniversary, Sweetin took to her Instagram to commemorate the special day and even credited Saget for bringing the entire cast together in the first place. “Today is a bittersweet time, thinking about Bob…but I know we all wouldn’t have been the family we were if it wasn’t for him,” she wrote in the sentimental. mail along with several souvenir photos.
