Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva fight could be canceled after ‘KO’ claim

The sensational boxing match between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva could be canceled after the Brazilian declared that he had been knocked out twice in sparring. Silva and YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul are currently scheduled to square off on October 29 in Arizona.

Paul has been focused on a boxing matchup with UFC icon Anderson Silva next Saturday in one of the toughest encounters of his career to date. With an undefeated record of 5-0, the YouTuber is naturally confident that he will defeat Silva.

However, it looks like the fight could be in doubt. According to reports in the United States, the Arizona Commission is scheduled to hold a meeting on Thursday night to decide whether or not to allow the fight to continue on Saturday.

This is due to the quotes from Silva, who has since insisted that he was ‘wrong’ when he revealed that he had been knocked out twice in a match before the fight. Arguably the greatest mixed martial arts fighter to ever grace a cage, the 47-year-old last competed under the UFC banner in October 2020, where he fell to Uriah Hall via TKO.
