Fury ‘runs to the hospital’ to be with his mother in family emergency

Tyson Fury has reportedly left his training camp in Morecambe Bay to be with his mother Amber in hospital after she fell ill just days before his fight with Derek Chisora.
The Gypsy King is currently preparing to defend his WBC title on December 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Chisora but according to Sunrushed to his mother’s side at Manchester Hospital after being “very worried” about her health.
A source close to Fury told the publication: “Tyson was really worried when he heard that his mother was not doing well. They are very close and he just wanted to be with her. It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind, but he’s determined that he’ll be able to fight next week. After making sure he’s okay, he’ll go back to training as soon as possible.
“His fans mean the world to him and he doesn’t want to let them down.”
“She is a private person. I don’t think she means anything to my mother. She doesn’t care if I’m a world champion or not, as long as she’s healthy and happy. That’s the only thing that means anything to her. She doesn’t want to be anything that she isn’t already and that’s what she’s been her whole life and what she’s been raised to do.”
Fury enters the Chisora fight having beaten him twice in 2011 and 2014. The Gypsy King was set to take on Joshua on the same date. However, the negotiations failed at the last moment.
