Fury opponent Lambert breaks silence after mediocre display clash

Tommy Fury’s opponent Rolly Lambert has issued a statement after the dust has settled on their tedious six-round exhibition bout. Both men were booed in a very underperforming fight.

TNT had been set to face Puerto Rican light heavyweight Paul Bamba in the co-main attraction of Bill Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji Olatunji at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. However, the fight was canceled when Bamba and promoters Global Titans were unable to come to an enhanced deal after Fury missed weight by 6.8 pounds.

Interestingly, Fury claimed that he had received a different contract from Bamba that allowed him to weigh up to 182 pounds. According to Bamba, he was kicked out of the fight hotel and received no compensation despite fulfilling his contract.

On social media, she wrote: “Yesterday was an amazing Sunday. I went to church, listened to the priest, got down on my knees, had my inner silent talk with the Lord in my heart. Came home, had breakfast, went to sleep. , planning to visit the beach later for a quick swim.

On social media, Lambert wrote: “At 3pm I was still napping when my friend @onemanriot78 called me in as a replacement to fight my brother in Christ Tommy @tommyfury in an exhibition fight on the @floydmayweather undercard. At first it felt a bit like a joke or a joke, until I met the gentleman @gypsyjohnfury himself in person. That’s when I knew he was serious. Big John was very cool and down to earth, he treated me like a a son.

“A deal was made for him to appear live on Dazon PPV, co-main event with Mayweather on the @globaltitansfightseries show. That was it, just like that. We did it and the great John honored his words. I never imagined that opportunity that is coming. It was for me, luck, a miracle, a grace from God through Jesus Christ. All of you who are happy for me, know that I am happy with you. It was a day of grace indeed. I am grateful and grateful to my sir, with all of you, the DMS, TMT, Team Fury, Alex, the global titans and anyone who has been a part of this.
