Fortnite fans are gearing up for the release of update 23.30 on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC consoles. The next Fortnite update will make countless bug fixes and adjustments to the game. Unfortunately, however, the new update will be accompanied by a period of server downtime, likely to last at least a couple of hours. If you want to know when you can start logging into Fortnite again, check out the 23:30 downtime schedule below.
Fortnite update 23.30 will be available to download starting at 9am UK time on the morning of January 31st.
Matchmaking will start to go down at 8:30am, while the servers will go completely offline at 9:00am GMT.
The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter, along with a preview of what fans can expect.
“Prepare to power up in v23.30!” read a tweet from Fortnite. “Downtime begins at 4am ET, and matchmaking was disabled shortly before.”
If it’s previous periods of server downtime, Fortnite will likely be back online around 11am GMT.
Express Online will keep this article updated with the latest developments, including confirmation of when the game will be back online.
As part of the 23.30 update, Epic Games will release a second crossover with the Dragon Ball series.
According to experts like Shiina, the Dragon Ball crossover will add Son Gohan and Piccolo skins to the game.
The new update will also see the progress of Rift Gate, as well as adding Boombox v2, which is believed to be a guitar.
“The guitar is supposed to be the Boombox v2,” Shiina tweets. “You have to hit the beat to do 75 damage to all buildings near you, and it has a beat of 3 beats per second.”
It goes without saying that new skins and items will be added to the item shop, along with the February Gear Pack.
