“While the FA is fully satisfied that the allegation was made in good faith, it is also satisfied that there is no case to answer. The FA continues to take all allegations received very seriously and would encourage anyone who believes they have been object or witness of abuse to report it through the appropriate channels.
“The FA receives a number of complaints in any given season and thoroughly investigates each one it receives. After considering all the evidence received, not all cases will result in a charge being issued.”
