England vs Iran ticket carnage as fans risk missing out on World Cup clash

England fans are at risk of missing out on the World Cup clash against Iran after the FIFA ticket app crashed. Tensions begin to rise outside the stadium in Qatar as thousands of supporters queue for alternative paper tickets, some arguing with security.

Since then, followers have had trouble logging back into the app, claiming they were prevented from doing so. The situation arose this morning when people started sharing screenshots of the app on social media.

It raises fears that thousands of fans will be locked out of games they have paid to attend. England kick off their World Cup campaign against Iran on Monday afternoon, while Wales take on the United States later in the evening.

Fans have been told to queue at a Doha convention center to have a paper ticket printed. But that raises questions about whether those supporters will miss their matches because of the long lines.
