The trio talk about Kang “the exile”, who was the variant in the new movie imprisoned in the Quantum Realm by He Who Remains.
It’s also clear that branches of the multiverse have been created now that the He Who Remains died in the final episode of Loki season 1. Kang’s Council is planning to raid him across the Multiverse ready to conquer it for themselves. And considering the statue of Kang in the show’s final shot, they’ve presumably taken over TVA by now.
The mid-credits scene ends with an arena shot of thousands of Kang variants, all played by Majors and representing just how dangerous a villain he is. After all, even if one is defeated, there are many, many more to stop.
This is clearly setting up 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty when Marvel’s superheroes will take on the many variants of Kang the Conqueror.
