Elvis’ guitar with Beatles connection is up for sale for a whopping sum

The description continues: “The letter is dated September 16, 1969, and as you can read, it states that at the time, Nashville producer Scotty Turner was in possession of the guitar. It was one of 6 prototypes, with this exact first guitar for Elvis (one of the others was for George Harrison, another for Steve Cropper). Elvis used the guitar on and off for a period of a few months, but eventually deemed it too heavy and sent it to Eddie Miller. Simply an incredible piece of musical history! And beyond its incredible history, the guitar itself plays and sounds fantastic! The knobs date back to 1964. As you can imagine, it’s a very rich, full-sounding Tele with great sustain. The neck plays like butter, with low action across the fingerboard. All photographed documentation is included, along with the original hard case! Please feel free to reach out with any questions.”

And this is what it costs.
