In his fourth film, Spectre, Craig sprained his knee while filming a fight scene, but refused to have production shut down for months.
However, when it came to filming the opening sequence for Day of the Dead in Mexico City, he had to admit to director Sir Sam Mendes that he couldn’t run.
In just 30 minutes, the pair came up with a new scene that pretty much only sees Bond walking; a lucky accident that actually made for a compelling introduction to the movie.
Most recently, on No Time To Die, production was cut short when Craig required minor surgery after injuring his ankle on set in Jamaica. Now looking back on his 15-year tenure as 007, the 54-year-old is upset that he focused so much on these painful encounters.
