We are absolutely appalled by the behavior of some of our competitors.” Horner then went on to say that he expects the process to be completed this weekend after being offered an ‘accepted default deal’ which will mean his team will receive a lighter punishment for his actions. It remains to be seen whether Red Bull agrees to those terms or holds further talks with the FIA in the hope it will allow them to come to a different deal, although that could be a ‘six to nine month’ process.
