Chelsea have the answer to the Kai Havertz conundrum as the German finds a way

Kai Havertz has offered Chelsea the answer to their conundrum on where to play him and says he will play anywhere as long as he can get into the box. The German scored a brilliant goal in a 2-1 Champions League victory over Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday night.
And Havertz also found the net in Stamford Bridge’s win over Wolves in early October. The 23-year-old is looking to rediscover his best form with Graham Potter and has yet to score more than eight goals in a Premier League season.
That’s despite batting 17 and then 12 in his last two seasons with Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. However, he has found it more difficult to play at Chelsea, and much of the discussion about his inconsistent form in London has revolved around his best position.
But Havertz, the hero of Chelsea’s 2021 Champions League triumph, insists it’s not a problem for him where he plays. The 30-cap German international, who has 10 goals for his country, has vowed to do his best to get into the box wherever he is deployed.

“It was nice to score an important goal and I hope to continue like this.” And he said of new Chelsea manager Potter: “I’ve only worked with him for a few weeks, but he’s a very, very good manager and time will tell how far we can go in the Champions League, hopefully a long way.” . “
That praise was reciprocated, with Potter telling BT Sport: “(The goal) was amazing, the top corner and it makes my job a lot easier when they can do that, to be fair. Great for him. Really pleased because he’s been fighting and did his best and came close to scoring more.
“To write that down and help us out today, that’s fantastic.” Potter added about Havertz in his post-match press conference: “His quality is there. He’s an incredibly talented player. He’s been almost there and obviously scoring a goal like that will surely help. He wouldn’t be able to score a goal like that.” To be fair, I can only imagine! It’s a fantastic shot and an indication of the quality of it. So I’m really happy for him.”
