Moses Caicedo
The Brighton and Potter recruiting team have been widely praised for discovering the jewel that is Moises Caicedo, taking a chance on him in the same transfer window that Manchester United did not. Since he joined for £4.5m in January 2021, Caicedo has surprised many with how quickly he has adapted to English football.
Still just 20, the Ecuadorian reportedly has plenty of high-profile suitors, and Potter’s arrival at Chelsea would likely have pushed the Blues to the front of the queue. With Jorginho and N’Golo Kante potentially leaving at the end of the season, Potter will want to restart his midfield. Caicedo, for the right price, would be an interesting addition.
