BAFTA 2023 nominations for Elvis for Top Gun – full list of nominees

Tonight, the BAFTAs will celebrate their 2023 nominees with a huge ceremony filled with glitz, glamour, and celebrity. All 25 categories will receive their winners, and there are some big names in the race. Austin Butler is nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the biopic Elvis. Tom Cruise’s latest epic film, Top Gun: Maverick, is also in the running for Best Cinematography, Best Sound and more. Meanwhile, The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once are rumored to take over, as they’re up for a massive amount of prize money each.
The ceremony will start on BBC One tonight at 7:00pm and run until 9:00pm. Only the last four categories will be shown on TV, but the broadcast will be live for the first time. In previous years it was a prerecorded segment.
It will be hosted by actor Richard E Grant and ITV daytime presenter Alison Hammond. Grant said of hosting the show, “I feel extremely privileged to present the EE Baftas for the first time and the opportunity to celebrate the best of this year’s extraordinary array of films.”
Hammond said: “I’m very excited to be hosting this year’s EE Bafta Film Awards with THE Richard E Grant. We’re going to have a lot of fun bringing backstage glitz and glamor to everyone watching from home around the world.” . From hanging out with the stars to celebrating the biggest night in movies to joining in discussions with movie fans, be prepared only for good vibes!
